Frosted Peach Whiskey Sour

- 1 oz lemon juice fresh
- 1 oz peach simple syrup instructions below
- ½ cup frozen peaches
- ice
- peach slices and mint sprigs for garnish
Peach Simple Syrup
- 1 cup slices peaches
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup sugar
Frosted Peach Whiskey Sour
In a blender, combine the bourbon, fresh lemon juice, peach simple syrup, and, frozen peaches. Blend until the mixture is smooth and frothy.
Add ice to the blender and blend again until the mixture is thick and slushy.
Pour the frozen peach sour into a glass and garnish with peach slices and mint sprigs.
Peach Simple Syrup Recipe
In a saucepan, combine the sliced peaches, water, and sugar.
Bring to a boil and then reduce the heat to a simmer.
Let the mixture simmer for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sugar has dissolved and the peaches have softened.
Remove the saucepan from the heat and let it cool for about 10 minutes.
Then, strain out the peaches and discard them.
You should be left with a clear peach simple syrup. Store the syrup in a jar in the refrigerator until you're ready to use it.
